Today the package of softball shirts, shorts, and socks that my family sent me came in the mail. I was already able to give Nadja her shirt and shorts. I am excited to give more of my teammates the gear too.
At lunch, Peter said something in Swiss that I did not understand, about how I could help around the farm today. Luckily, after we were done eating, Roman was able to show me where I was supposed to go and what I was supposed to do to help. It was a machine that dumped the hay onto a conveyor belt and then another machine sucked it up into storage for the winter.
Cony made a cherry pie and it was delicious, of course! I was able to read more of The Hobbit and then Peter needed me to help with the hay machine. I think he likes that I help because he asked me to get my camera so that he could take pictures of me working. I had no problem with that.
At 6:15, Moni, my first baseman, picked me up because we were meeting a lot of the girls from the team in St. Gallen. The city was having a New Orleans themed party with lots of food and music. I had a shish kabob, with cooked ostrich haha It tasted like beef though, so it was good. And then I had a fruit kabob, with pineapples and strawberries covered in chocolate and topped with nuts. Needless to say, it was absolutely delicious!
When I got home, I checked my email and watched some TV. Time for bed!
